Android and Amazon tablets -- and even Windows laptops -- are available for less. Base model includes only 16GB of non-expandable storage. It's missing the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and split-screen feature found on newer iPads

Very portable, with a well built, well designed body. Retina display is very crisp, powered by fast, significantly upgraded hardware. iOS has by far the best selection of tablet apps going around.
Pricey, especially for storage upgrades and the cellular model. Display color gamut is lacking.
Abstract: Come on folks, this is something we knew that was bound to happen! Apple and Google have been waging war against one another for a long time now, and considering that this year meant that we would see refreshes to several popular tablets, which we did,...
This considering the iPad mini with Retina display are likely doing so for a number of reasons, two of which include price and portability. In both areas, the Mini has its advantages over the iPad Air while maintaining largely the same key features, no...
Are the new iPads worth the cost? Yes. In concert with Apple's phenomenal App Store and iTunes digital ecosystem (including the brilliant iTunes U), the iPad lineup produces a user experience that is unmatched. My only real complaint is the lack of th...
Abstract: There's no question that you'll get a thrill the first time you pick up the iPad Air. It's so much more holdable, even in just one hand, than the previous full-size iPads. The new iPad has shed a quarter of the old weight, has the nicer-feeling case desig...

It's easy to stick the iPad mini in the same category as the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HDX. They're certainly close, but Apple has created its own beast entirely, one that has a superior design and unmatched app experience. With a starting price of $400, it...

Size and weight for daily use. Excellent build quality, iPad Air Performance in a compact shell, Excellent app ecosystem
Now that it’s packing a Retina Display, the 2nd generation iPad mini is more in line to being a premium tablet – whereas before, it felt a smidgen underwhelming. As much as we appreciate its arrival, in addition to the usual hardware upgrades, its new ...

Great, high density display, Incredible performance, Great battery life, Extremely lightweight and portable, Virtually endless supply of content for consumption
Speaker placement isn't the best, iOS 7 is in need of further tablet optimization, Moderately expensive, Just big enough to not fit in some jacket pockets,
To say the original iPad mini was a disappointment would be an understatement for many. The display and the internals were not up to snuff, and it didn't take long for people to realize. But Apple seemingly listened to the complaints and has come back w...
