Awkward touchpad placement, Mechanical keyboard is fine for gaming, but uncomfortable for long typing sessions, Underside becomes very hot during game play, Short battery life

The Acer Triton 700 is an impressive slim gaming laptop, but its nontraditional touchpad makes it a tough sell for anything other than games...
Excellent RGB mechanical keyboard, Fast 120Hz G-Sync display, Relatively quiet cooling fans, Rock-solid chassis, Good speakers
Pricey next to competition, Awkward touch pad location, Exterior surfaces get very hot while gaming, Short battery life
Acer's slim GTX 1080-packing gamer is a strong performer, with mechanical RGB keys and unique looks. Just note the unorthodox touch pad placement may have you reaching for a mouse. And at $2,999 it's certainly not cheap, even compared to other svelte gam...
sturdy, slim and high quality case, handy software (OC, fan controls), high-contrast IPS screen with 120 Hz, easy maintenance access, mechanical keyboard, superb performance, well-made design, Thunderbolt 3, 2x PCIe-SSDs, G-Sync
annoying start-up sound (can be muted in BIOS), some sharpedged case elements, high temperatures during 3D workloads, flawed touchpad solution, very short battery runtime, moderate display reaction times, no card reader, shallow sound, very expensive

excellent design with superior build quality, Capable cooling system, with options, Mechanical keyboard works very well, 2x SSD slots, Pretty good battery life, lots of IO, including a recessed USB port
awkward trackpad placement, no 120Hz screen on cheaper model, gets extremely hot underneath the unit, low quality SSDs on cheaper model, very expensive, loud startup sound(can be disabled at least)
Whether you go with the 1060 or 1080 version, there's a lot the Predator 700 has to offer. Acer did a fantastic job creating a laptop that looks cutting edge and still feels high quality, and the mechanical keyboard and proper IO are some of its other big...
Attractive and sturdy body, Very good keyboard, Lovely, fast display, Internal spec delivers the goods
